During our recent family vacation at Hawksmoor Lakeland Guesthouse, we had an enjoyable experience that perfectly catered to our needs as a family. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly, setting a positive tone for our stay. Our room was well-cared for and equipped with everything we needed, including a balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee while soaking up the sun-a rare treat in March! The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Lake Windermere, where we spent a delightful afternoon exploring the new all-weather museum dedicated to the area's rich boating history. Our kids loved visiting the Lakes Aquarium on the southern shore, immersed in the local wildlife. The complimentary access to a top-notch health club was a bonus, allowing us to unwind after our daily adventures. Breakfast was well-prepared, ensuring everyone started our days off right. Hawksmoor truly offered a family-friendly atmosphere, and we look forward to returning.
